Turbo-Tihu's Twilight Night Flight [PS1]

Tihu is a mischievous chihuahua.

All the treats belong to her.

Help Tihu to maneuver her helicopter towards tasty snacks while avoiding buildings! Land gently so you don't break Tihu.

Controls

• Select: Toggle advanced flight mode
• Start: Toggle flight information
• Simple Flight Mode:
  • Up: Forwards
  • Down: Backwards
  • Left/Right: Strafe
  • X: Go down
  • O: Go up
  • L1/R1: Turn left/right
  • L2/R2: Turn left/right faster
• Simple Flight Mode Tips:
  • All directional movement is relative to the direction Tihu is facing. More refined information (Yaw) is available by toggling flight information with Start.
  • Yaw values are 0 to 4095, with 0 facing north, 1024 facing east, 2048 facing south, and 3072 facing west)
  • Some momentum is simulated, but if you stop all inputs, Tihu will eventually stabilize.

• Advanced Flight Mode:
  • Up: Forward cyclic
  • Down: Aft cyclic
  • Left/Right: Cyclic left/right
  • X: decrease collective
  • O: increase collective
  • L1/R1: Slight pedal left/right
  • L2/R2: Full pedal left/right
  • Triangle: Increase tail rotor trim (yaw right)
  • Square: Decrease tail rotor trim (yaw left)

  • Momentum and drag are simulated more heavily.
  • You will need to use rudder pedal inputs and trim to counteract the torque from Tihu's rotor blades. Tihu is an Airbus H135, so her rotors spin counterclockwise, thus she has a tendency to yaw right (clockwise). This tendency increases with collective.
  • Applying trim to the tail rotor is recommended to assist with controlled flight.
  • Cyclic between 0.48 and 0.52 is ideal for hovering.
  • Landing speed tolerance is less forgiving in advanced flight mode.

You can run the game on any PS1 emulator you wish (tested on PCSX -Redux, but any emulator for PS1 should work), or on real hardware.
